Really - there is no given roadmap to success, but there are many ways to get rich in this cursed universe of ours. I have been playing with the ideas and methods in which people have enriched themselfves - for better or for worse, and its quite entertaining...

Being first time in a cocpit, not knowing your way around a stick and even less your way around Sanshas boys, most would welcome such an offer of free help...

 WAKE UP PILOT - THERES NO FREE MEALS !!! - i have used this method myself with a nice portion of success.. lands me either a nice ransom, or another frozen corp to nail to my hull...  CONCORD doesent retailate on fleetmates :) .. so anyone shooting you down while in gang with you.. is home free :P Unless you have a battleship of whppass standing by to hep you out... most newbies...dont....
 The clonemasters always enjoy the newbies open their clone mouths meeping like a kittten
- " But but .. he said he was my friend" ... reminds me what i hear brokenhearted misses say in the space docks, walking past with bulging tummies :

 - i can vividly see those lessons stick :P..

Then you have the CanFlippers ... simple and effective THIEVES .. hey - its a living too, and a nice part of a pirates life... its like taking candy from a sleeping kid.. well sometime they are awake too, but the result is pretty much the same...
 A well meaning pilot is out mining, or scaveninging after a mission involving lots of wrecks and more loot than he can handle...After his cargohold is full, especially from mining, he/she jettison the whole thing, since the canisters have a tendency to hold vast volumes of loot, ore or whatever... especially in ore, its a nice way, since you seriously neeed an Obelisk to rival the cargospace.
 So there you are ( a pirate) - Surfing the belts for unprepared prey or an opportunity to simply have some fun, and this dork is jettison perfectly fine ore into spacecans... i mean COME ON ... non secure canisters, and a hungry pirate.. its a smorgosbord...Any self respecting pirate would´nt pass over such a treat... one simply back up to the canister, open it and transfer a cargohold full of... SOMEONE ELSES WORK ... it´s...pure... simple...genious ..
  And when the whines start in Local chat asking WHY ?.. the answer is simple...
" I simply like making your day miserable :)- have a nice day, sir..." 
Who said we pirates arent cortious :P
